At dawn, the train departs Hanoi once again, heading east toward the coast. Passengers awaken to views of Northern Vietnam’s countryside—red-tiled roofs, glistening rice paddies, and palm-lined paths. A traditional Tonkin-style breakfast is served onboard.
By 9:30 AM, arrive at Hai Phong Station and transfer by private vehicle to Tuan Chau Marina, Ha Long. At 10:30 AM, board your luxurious cruise and set sail across the emerald waters of Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The limestone karsts and islets create a landscape of timeless beauty.

The train arrives back at Gia Lam Station in Hanoi. Enjoy your final breakfast onboard until 9:30 AM, followed by check-out at 10:00 AM.
Later our English-speaking guide along with your Private Car and Driver will meet you at the Train Station and will take you for a Tour of Hanoi visiting the very impressive Museum of Ethnology, among the finest of Vietnam’s museums. You will see many exhibits, photographs and actual houses inhabited by some of the 54 ethnic people in Vietnam. It will offer a truly colorful introduction to these ethnic tribes. From here, you will enjoy a one-hour cyclo tour of Hanoi’s vibrant Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake, the focal point of the city and get to a coffee shop to enjoy the cup of Vietnamese coffee.
